The Mukoviszidose Institut gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für Forschung und Therapieentwicklung mbH (Cystic fibrosis Institute - a non-profit making, limited company for therapeutic research and development (MI)), is a 100% subsidiary of Mukoviszidose e.V. in Bonn. By establishing the MI, Mukoviszidose e.V. is in a position to provide support with scientific services for the plan-ning, execution, evaluation and dissemination of research projects in the field of cystic fibrosis (CF).  As a competent and efficient partner, the MI is able to assist universities, clinics and doc-tors in private and industrial practice in conducting clinical trials (including investigator initiated trials, epidemiological surveys and pre-clinical projects).  It is MI's medium and long-term objec-tive to make a significant contribution to CF research (primarily in clinical research), not least in co-operation with study groups in Europe and North America. Details...
