Scientific Meeting 2026

May 21st + 22nd 2026

Topic:
Cystic Fibrosis Omics: From Complex Alleles to Host-Pathogen Interactions

Chairs:
Dr. Laura Schaupp (DE/Berlin), PD Dr. Julia Hentschel (DE/Leipzig), Prof. Dr. Dr. Burkhard Tümmler (DE/Hannover)

Location:
Bonn/Germany

Invited speakers will present the latest data, focusing on the use of “-omics data” in cystic fibrosis research and care. The keynote speech will be given by Professor Lars Plate (Vanderbilt University, Nashville, USA), with the topic “CFTR variants and their influence on protein homeostasis”.

In addition to the invited speakers, there will be the opportunity to present your own data. You can submit abstracts on the following topics:

  • Complex alleles, variant characterization, epigenetics, and genetic data exchange
  • Infection and immunity: bacterium–host interactions, mucins, and immune response
