20th Scientific Meeting

CF Registry: Ready for science!? - Value of registry data to improve CF care

PD Dr. Lutz Nährlich (Gießen), Dr. Carsten Schwarz (Berlin)

! The Scientific Meeting is postponed to September 2021. The new date is 09.+10.09.2021 !

Considering the current situation the German CF Research Community (FGM), the Cystic Fibrosis Institute (MI) and the chairs of the meeting have decided to postpone this year's Scientific Meeting (ScieM). The topic will be retained and it will take place on 09.+10.09.2021 in Montabaur (Germany).

The decision was not taken lightly. The quality of the ScieM requires an international line-up with renowned speakers from Europe and North America. This could not be guaranteed this year due to the planning uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 situation. In addition, the meeting lives from discussions and networking, which is why a digital implementation was also ruled out as an alternative.

We hope to welcome you again next year.

The meeting creates an open space for discussion and networking. Every year a keynote speaker reviews the results of their chosen CF-topic. All national and international scientists and clinicians working in the field of CF are invited to participate. They can also contribute to the programme by submitting an abstract and presenting their data.

The meeting is held in English, and participants do not have to pay a registration fee. You can register online via this website. Due to the limited number of available spaces, please register early! Please keep in mind that the meeting is exclusively for scientists and clinicians.
