Scientific Meeting (ScieM)

Scientific Meeting (ScieM)

The ScieM takes place once a year in September with changing topics regarding recent research on cystic fibrosis (CF). It is organized by the Cystic Fibrosis Institute in collaboration with the German CF Research Foundation (FGM).

The meeting creates an open space for discussion and networking. Every year a keynote speaker reviews the results of their chosen CF-topic. All national and international scientists and clinicians working in the field of CF are invited to participate. They can also contribute to the programme by submitting an abstract and presenting their data.

The meeting is held in English, and participants do not have to pay a registration fee. You can register online via this website. Due to the limited number of available spaces, please register early!

18th Scientific Meeting

This year’s meeting with the topic "Anti-infective and anti-inflammatory strategies to modulate the CF-microbiome" will take place on 27th and 28th of September 2018.

Dr. Olaf Eickmeier (Frankfurt)
Prof. Dr. Barbara Kahl (Münster)
Prof. Dr. Burkhard Tümmler (Hannover)

You can find further information on the talks and speakers in the programme. If you are interested in participating, the deadline for submitting an abstract is 15th June 2018.

We are looking forward to an interesting meeting!
